“And like the sun, we will always rise again.”

Hazirah is a behavioural therapist at Thrive Psychology Clinic.

Since beginning her journey at James Cook University, Hazirah has immersed herself in the diverse branches of psychology, guided by her inquisitive nature and a passion for understanding human behaviour. She engages deeply with a broad range of psychological theories and evidence-based practices, including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Behaviour Therapy (BT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which she thoughtfully tailors to suit each individual’s unique needs.

Hazirah is dedicated to providing a supportive and collaborative environment, which she believes is key to cultivating lasting and meaningful therapeutic progress. Resilience, empathy, and collaboration are the core values that guide her work, enabling her to connect with others in a way that is both compassionate and empowering.

She brings wisdom through her hands-on support in volunteering roles with children, adolescents, and families—including individuals with special needs, those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and children facing medical challenges. These experiences have shaped her perspective and deepened her commitment to helping individuals thrive and achieve personal growth and well-being.
