“A foundation built on sincerity and integrity stands the test of time.”

Nawal is a clinical support staff at Thrive Psychology Clinic.

Nawal Mustafah is a third-year undergraduate at the National University of Singapore (NUS), pursuing a double major in Psychology and Malay Studies. With a deep interest in child psychology, she is committed to understanding how children develop, learn, and navigate challenges. Her academic journey, along with her volunteer work, professional experiences, and personal insights, has deepened her appreciation for the complexities of child development, behavior, and motivation.

Currently undertaking an internship at Thrive Psychology as a Clinical Support Intern, Nawal is gaining valuable firsthand experience in the operations of a psychology clinic. By supporting daily functions and contributing to programme planning processes, she is developing a deeper understanding of how psychological services are structured and delivered. This experience continues to shape her perspective on the practical aspects of mental health support.

Driven by a strong commitment to learning, Nawal seeks to apply her growing knowledge to create environments that empower children to reach their full potential. She is currently applying her knowledge through her blog, Notes from an Aspiring Child Psychologist, where she explores the challenges and nuances of child psychology and mental health.
