We live in a fast paced world today, patience is very important especially as a child. It can come in the form of perseverance in effort and being patient while waiting to see results or something as simple as waiting for a parent to cook their meal for them at meal times. It can also help a child learn to regulate their emotions such as anxiousness, eagerness or bursts of energy. Patience is both required to practice meditation and strengthened by practice of meditation.
