Shiuann

Shiuann Lih is a freshman at the National University of Singapore (NUS), currently pursuing a double major in Psychology and Chinese Studies. Through her countless interactions with people from all walks of life, her interest in understanding human behaviours was piqued as she found herself trying to understand why people act the way they do.

Her passion for cognitive psychology and understanding human relationships is fuelled even further by her sensitivity to emotions and subtle cues, of which she discovered her talent during her teen years. Her experience with children and youths through volunteering and tutoring has made her deeply aware of the importance of applying apt interventions towards their behaviours, thus encouraging their better development.

Hoping to further her studies in clinical studies in the near future, she believes her exposure to the knowledgeable professionals at Thrive Psychology Clinic would gain her valuable insights as she starts off her academic journey in Psychology.
