With a strong interest in the human mind & behaviour, and a firm belief that everyone deserves equal opportunities, Alicia is currently pursuing Psychology Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her previous experience in the Diploma in Leisure & Events Management has presented her with the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Through a global movement programme where she got to interact with the less fortunate, it occurred to her that some do not have proper access to receiving mental health support.
Henceforth, she aims to enhance her knowledge to become properly equipped to help others in need. Determined to start something within her means, she is currently overseeing a school committee that aims to promote the overall well-being of students.
Alongside schooling, she is also a Clinical Support Intern at Thrive Psychology Clinic and she hopes to apply what was taught in school and adapt to a clinical setting. Moving forward, she intends to further her studies in Clinical Psychology.
