Clinical Support Intern
Rachel is currently a final year undergraduate student at SIM-UB with a double major in Psychology and
Communications. During her final few semesters in university, the world was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic and
Rachel was stuck by how her community was affected not only physically, but also psychologically. This
motivated her to chase her passion in psychology so she would be able to better contribute to her community.
Education in her formative years was split between Singapore and at an American boarding school. This
exposure led to her specific interest in developmental psychology and the long term impact of one's childhood
and adolescence. Her other passions include art, film, and photography.
At Thrive Psychology Clinic, she hopes to nurture her interest in developmental psychology and learn about the
inner workings of a private psychology clinic before she embarks on a master’s degree in clinical psychology.
