Healthcare has always been something close to Rejini’s heart. Having started off her career in the healthcare industry, she has met people with anxiety related to health. She has also volunteered with Action for AIDS and understands the worry and confusion behind being diagnosed with an illness. She wants to be able to walk the difficult journey with her clients.
Rejini has been in the education industry for more than two decades which has taught her to build rapport with children and adolescents from 10 to 18 years. She has seen and worked with this age group through stress, anxiety, anger management and self-harm. It is also the age where many are trying to find themselves and she has guided them to find their strengths and build on their self-confidence. Being in the education sector, she is able to understand the pressures students face and she has been guiding them in goal-setting, time management and managing stress.
She has also worked with young adults on relationship issues and self-worth. She strongly believes in empowering her clients to improve in different areas in their life. She uses an integrative approach mainly; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
