Clinical Support Intern
Sarah is an upcoming final year Psychology student at Durham University in the UK. Her love for the field of Psychology began from her past volunteering experiences, where she became interested in developmental and abnormal psychology, in particular an individual’s mental health. As she believes that Psychology is still considered an infant and highly stigmatised field in Singapore, she is determined to embark on a journey as a Clinical Psychologist in the future so as to contribute back to society by helping others the best she can.
At Thrive Psychology Clinic, Sarah hopes that this internship will allow her to apply the knowledge acquired at university to her tasks and contribute to her overall skills and knowledge about mental health practices. More importantly, she hopes to gain insight into the mental health scene in Singapore and how the operations are carried out.
