Zaleha’s passion for mental health has led her to pursue her studies in Psychology and Counselling. It started when she asked herself what makes an individual unique and what makes them different from the other. Combining her studies in Psychology and her working experiences, she goes on to pursue Counselling.
She believes that individuals have the ability to learn, grow, and control over their own life. Undergoing the road to self-discovery and recovery does not have to be alone. Zaleha hopes to provide a safe space for individuals in finding and uncovering the tools needed for self-growth and competency in reaching one’s goals. Her areas of interest include mindfulness, stress management and positive psychology.
She has worked with youths and children for 8-years in a Voluntary Welfare Organisation where she ran children and youths’ drop-in space in both secondary school and community settings. Currently, she works with university students in overseeing a programme that focuses on promoting psychological wellbeing and positive self-care to students.
Zaleha has a diploma and degree background in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Masters in
Counselling at Monash University. She is also a Placement Practitioner at Thrive Psychology Clinic.
