Yexuan’s interest in clinical psychology stems from the amalgamation of his personal experiences and interest in human thoughts and behaviours. He uses various art forms such as applied drama or dance in tandem with his psychological knowledge to provide resources to individuals from different backgrounds. He is experienced in helping adolescents and children navigate through difficult struggles.

As a Psychotherapist, Yexuan uses various therapy interventions, techniques, and models, such as Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, and Neurocognitive Therapy in his sessions based on each client’s personalised needs. He aims to help children/adolescents navigate through their struggles using various interventions available.

In addition, Yexuan has also worked extensively with individuals of different socio-economic backgrounds addressing different social-emotional needs.

At Thrive Psychology Clinic, Yexuan also helps the Programme Development team in projects, develop workshops and initiatives for children, parents, and private organisations. These variety of engaging and targeted programmes aim to guide children towards development and growth in crucial areas such as, socio-emotional skills, stress management, mindfulness, positive self-talk, and communication.
